Einstein AI-powered features built into your Salesforce reporting — Einstein Opportunity Scoring, Einstein Activity Capture analytics, Einstein Lead Scoring reports, and Next Best Action configuration.
Reports and dashboards that give your Salesforce administrators and data owners visibility into data quality — missing fields, stale records, duplicate rates, and CRM hygiene scores — enabling proactive data maintenance.
Where Salesforce data alone is not enough, we connect external data sources into your reporting layer — pulling ERP data, marketing analytics, website behaviour, and financial data into unified dashboards that give a complete business view.
A structured, transparent delivery process — so you know exactly what is happening at every stage of the engagement.
We run workshops with each stakeholder group — sales, marketing, service, ops, and leadership — to document their exact reporting needs, current frustrations, and the decisions they need data to support.
We map the Salesforce data model to the required reports — identifying what data exists, what needs to be captured, how metrics are calculated, and where data quality issues will affect reporting accuracy.
We build all reports, dashboards, and analytics views in a sandbox — iterating with each stakeholder group until the output matches their requirements before production deployment.
We configure dashboard sharing, report folder permissions, and dynamic dashboard user settings — ensuring every user sees the right data for their role and nothing more.
We train each user group on their dashboards — how to read the data, use filters, drill down to records, and subscribe to scheduled reports — maximising adoption and self-service capability.
Reporting needs evolve as the business changes. We offer ongoing reporting support — adding new metrics, updating dashboard layouts, building new views, and adapting to Salesforce platform updates.
From native Salesforce reports and dynamic dashboards through CRM Analytics, Tableau, and Einstein AI — we build the reporting layer that gives every team the data they need to make better decisions.

Unified dashboards connecting Salesforce pipeline data with ERP revenue, marketing spend, and operational KPIs — single source of truth for leadership.
Role hierarchy, folder permissions, and dynamic dashboards ensuring every user sees exactly the data their role requires and nothing more — designed in from day one.
What makes Rackwave Technologies the salesforce analytics & reporting partner that consistently delivers measurable outcomes — not just deliverables.
Every dashboard and report we build is designed to support a specific business decision — not to display data for its own sake. We start by asking what decision this data needs to support.
We run separate workshops with each stakeholder group — sales, marketing, service, ops, and leadership — to build reporting that genuinely reflects how each team measures success.
Every reporting layer we build includes role-based access control — ensuring each user sees exactly the data their role requires and nothing more. Data governance is designed in from the start.
We design reporting to measure the outcomes of your Salesforce investment — pipeline generated, costs reduced, cases resolved, campaigns attributed — not just operational CRM metrics.
Every consultant and developer assigned to your project holds active Salesforce certifications in the clouds they work on — not expired or lapsed credentials.

Native Salesforce reports and dashboards work directly on your CRM data and are ideal for operational reporting — pipeline views, case queues, activity tracking, and team performance. CRM Analytics (formerly Einstein Analytics / Tableau CRM) is a dedicated analytics layer that can blend data from multiple Salesforce objects, external sources, and historical datasets — enabling more complex analysis, predictive scoring, and visualisations that native reports cannot produce. Most organisations benefit from both, with native reports for day-to-day use and CRM Analytics for strategic analysis.
Yes. We connect external data sources into CRM Analytics and Tableau — pulling in ERP financial data, marketing platform metrics, website analytics, and operational data to create unified business intelligence dashboards. For simpler requirements, we can also use External Objects and Salesforce Connect to surface external system data within native Salesforce reports.
We use Salesforce sharing rules, folder permissions, role hierarchy, and dynamic dashboards — where the dashboard data automatically adjusts based on the logged-in user — to enforce appropriate data access at the reporting layer. This ensures a sales rep sees only their pipeline, a manager sees their team, and an executive sees the whole organisation. We document the access model and test it across all user roles before deployment.
Yes. Inaccurate reporting is usually caused by one of three problems: data quality issues (missing or incorrect field values), incorrect report configuration (wrong filters, groupings, or metric definitions), or a misalignment between how the business defines a metric and how it is captured in Salesforce. We diagnose which problem is causing your inaccuracy and fix it at the root — which sometimes means improving data capture workflows, not just the report itself.
Yes. We build reporting for Marketing Cloud covering email campaign performance (sends, opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes), journey analytics (Journey Builder step performance and drop-off), subscriber growth and list health, and multi-channel engagement attribution. For advanced Marketing Cloud analytics, we use Intelligence Reports (Datorama) to build cross-channel marketing performance dashboards.
Native Salesforce reports have several key limitations that Tableau CRM (Einstein Analytics) addresses. Row limits: standard Salesforce reports are limited to 2,000 rows in the report view. Historical trending: native reports show current data only — historical snapshots require Reporting Snapshots or external tools. Multi-object complexity: joined reports support up to 4 report types, making very complex cross-object analysis difficult. External data: native reports can only report on Salesforce data, not external systems. Advanced visualisation: chart types are limited compared to Tableau or CRM Analytics. Predictive analytics: native reports do not include machine learning-powered scoring or forecasting. For operational reporting these limitations often do not matter — for strategic analytics they typically do.
Einstein Analytics (now officially Salesforce CRM Analytics) is a native Salesforce analytics platform designed specifically for Salesforce data — it sits inside the Salesforce platform, inherits Salesforce sharing rules automatically, and is optimised for CRM data analysis. Tableau is a standalone business intelligence platform that Salesforce acquired in 2019 — it is more powerful for complex, multi-source analytics but requires more technical expertise and does not inherit Salesforce sharing rules automatically. Most mid-market clients use CRM Analytics for Salesforce-native analysis and Tableau when they need to blend Salesforce data with external sources.
Salesforce does not natively maintain historical snapshots of record field values — it only shows the current state. To enable historical trend reporting, we implement one or more of these approaches: Reporting Snapshots (native Salesforce feature) to capture point-in-time data states on a scheduled basis; Historical Trending reports for a limited set of objects and fields (standard Salesforce feature with limitations); custom logging objects that capture field value changes as records are modified; or an external data warehouse integration that maintains a full history of Salesforce data changes for reporting in Tableau or CRM Analytics.
Yes — and executive dashboards are a specialised design challenge that we approach differently from operational dashboards. Executives need fewer metrics, higher-level aggregations, trend visibility, and exception highlighting — not the detailed operational data that managers and front-line teams use. We design executive dashboards in a dedicated workshop covering the 5 to 8 metrics that matter most to leadership, the frequency and format they need to review them, and the threshold-based highlighting that draws attention to exceptions. Executive dashboards typically refresh in real time and are optimised for mobile viewing.
Timeline depends on the scope of reports and dashboards required and the complexity of the underlying data. A focused set of dashboards for a single team — sales pipeline, service performance, or marketing attribution — typically takes 2 to 3 weeks: one week for requirements workshops and data model mapping, one week for build and stakeholder review, and one week for refinements, access control, and training. A comprehensive reporting layer for multiple teams with CRM Analytics lenses and datasets typically takes 4 to 6 weeks. We always prototype key dashboards early and share with stakeholders during the build — not at the end — so feedback is incorporated throughout.
